
WEST ISLIP, NY - A total of 25 current West Islip High School students were recently named AP Scholars by the College Board.
This recognition is bestowed for excellence in college-level academic achievement on Advanced Placement courses and exams.
Jaclyn Citarella, Scott Demarest, Madison Esposito, Matthew Falkenmayer, Jett Langhorn, Jake Maresca, Mckenzie O’Connell, Brian Parrett and Evan Trommer were recognized as AP Scholars with Honor for 2018, awarded to students who earn an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.

Erin Bevan, Jillian Calderaro, Sean Coppola, Rachel Denzler, John DeSantis, William Fix, Kayla Greene, Joseph Hart, Robert Hoyler, Zoey Lewandowski, Roman Millet, Ainsley Nowakoski, Sara O’Sullivan-Baks, Matthew Oldaker, Brooke Russo and Matthew Sgueglia were recognized as AP Scholars for 2018, awarded to students who earn an average score of at least 3 or higher on three or more AP exams.
"They are all hard workers, in academics as well as music and athletics, and we are very proud of them," Dr. AnthonyBridgeman, the school’s principal, said.
