3 Hospitalized After Car Crashes Into Bagel Shop In West Babylon

WEST BABYLON, NY - Three people were hospitalized after a car crashed into a bagel shop in West Babylon Friday morning.

The crash was reported at East Neck Bagel on 1005 Little E Neck Road at about 11:09 a.m.

Members of the North Babylon Volunteer Fire Company responded and Assistant Chief Tim Harrington confirmed that a car was in the building with nobody trapped.

A total of 3 people were taken to a local hospital for further evaluation by the West Babylon Fire Department. One person was evaluated on scene and refused medical attention.

The East Farmingdale Volunteer Fire Company and Suffolk Police also responded to the scene.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation. The Fire Marshal and Building Inspector are investigating.
