Beach Street Student-Artists Display Their ‘Colors’

WEST ISLIP, NY - From the West Islip School District: Artwork by Marina Lankford and Faith Whalen, both students at West Islip’s Beach Street Middle School, was chosen for display at the 20th annual Colors of Long Island student art exhibit, held from Feb. 23 through April 18 at Stony Brook’s Long Island Museum.

This annual student art exhibition provides an opportunity for K-12 students from across Long Island to show their artwork in a museum setting. The students, their families and teachers will attend a reception at the museum on April 18 to celebrate their accomplishment.

“We are thrilled to have Faith and Marina represent Beach Street Middle School at this prestigious event,” said West Islip Director of Art and Music Eric Albinder.
