Brentwood Man Sentenced to Prison For Rape of Two Young Girls: DA
The 24-year-old was found guilty of raping a 7-year-old and a 9-year-old girl in 2015.
A Brentwood man convicted for the rape of two young girls last year was recently sentenced to 15 years in prison, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney.
Last month, 24-year-old Augustine Ortiz was found guilty of first degree rape, first degree sexual abuse and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
He was arrested for raping a 9-year-old and a 7-year-old girl in May 2015.

Last Monday, Judge Barbara Kahn sentenced Ortiz to 15 years in a state correctional facility as well as 20 years of post-release supervision and three restraining orders for the girls and their mother, according to the DA.
The DA's office recommended Ortiz be sentenced to a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison.Y
