Copiague Man Charged in 2012 Shooting Death of Wyandanch Man
Boyd Holland was arrested in Orlando, police say.

A Copiague man has been arrested and charged in a fatal shooting in Wyandanch in 2012, police said.
The Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad, with the assistance of the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force, arrested Boyd Holland, 22, in Orlando, police said. Holland was transported to New York on Tuesday and is currently being held at the First Precinct.

Holland is charged with second degree murder. Police say he shot 35-year-old Eric Brooks in the torso in a Wyandanch backyard on May 9, 2012. Brooks, of Wyandanch, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Holland will be arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip on Wednesday.
