ICYMI: Group Home Manager Stole From Special Needs Persons: PD

In case you missed it, here's a story that appeared last week in West Islip Patch:

WEST BABYLON, NY - An East Meadow woman was arrested on Wednesday for stealing money from 11 special needs persons at a group home in West Babylon, according to Suffolk Police.

Unique Williams, 27, was the resident manager at the Maryhaven Center of Hope group home on 720 Albin Avenue when she took $1,889 in cash from the 11 resident's accounts on December 4, 2017, police said.

A supervisor from the group home noticed a discrepancy in the accounts and contacted police.
