Leslie Brophy to Teach in Hauppauge
Hauppuage School District Appoints West Islip Resident Leslie Brophy to Family and Consumer Sciences Teaching Position
Hauppauge School District is pleased to announce the appointment of West Islip resident Leslie Brophy to teach Family and Consumer Sciences at the Middle School and the High School. Brophy previously served as a Home & Careers teacher at West Middle School in Brentwood, and prior to that was a Home & Careers teacher at Southampton Intermediate School in Southampton.
She received a Master of Science in Educational Technology (K-12) from LIU Post, and a Bachelor of Arts in Family and Consumer Sciences Education (K-12) from Queens College. Brophy holds a New York State Professional Certification: Educational Technology Specialist and New York State Certification in ESL/ENL.
