Author Maria LaPlaca Bohrer virtually read aloud her book "Sofia's Stoop Story: 18th Street, Brooklyn."

Bellew Elementary School – including her grandson Anderson Bohrer – to a virtual read-aloud of her picture book “Sofia’s Stoop Story: 18th Street, Brooklyn.” Following the reading, Bohrer and the students discussed the book, which highlights family connections, storytelling and Italian traditions, and each student went home with a “Sofia’s Stoop Story” bookmark.
