Man Fleeing Cops Seriously Injured After Crashing Into Tree: SCPD
The man was pinned to the car after the crash on Tuesday morning.

WEST BABYLON, NY - A man was left seriously injured after crashing into a tree after fleeing from officers in West Babylon on Tuesday morning, according to Suffolk Police
Officers responded to a home on Cheltenham Road at 10:40 a.m. regarding a domestic order of protection violation, police said.
The man, who was the subject of the order, fled the scene in his car and subsequently crashed on Belmont Avenue, near Silver Street.

The North Babylon Fire Department was called to the scene due to a person severely pinned in the car.
Upon arrival multiple tools were put into operation by our members and the Suffolk County Police Department to free the trapped driver. At 12:26 p.m. the man was removed.

The man was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say it is unclear what, if any, charges the man will face.
