Police Seeking Man Who Stole Thousands of Dollars From West Islip Business

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who they say stole money from a West Islip convenience store last month.

According to police, the man pictured above entered Causeway Food Zone, located at 570 Sunrise Highway, on May 29 at about 12:30 p.m. and stole thousands of dollars from a rear office. The man fled in a dark-colored minivan.

The man was described as black, between 45 and 50 years old, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9 and approximately 210 pounds. He was wearing a Dallas Cowboys cap.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
