Police: West Islip Teens Arrested After Breaking Into High School Announcers' Booth, Security Guard Injured
The incident occurred Saturday night on the West Islip High School football field, police say.

A West Islip High School security guard was taken to the hospital with minor injuries Saturday night after he was injured during a confrontation with two West Islip teens who broke into the announcers’ booth on the high school football field, police said.
According to police, two 16-year-olds from West Islip entered the announcers’ booth at 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
A male security guard who confronted the teens was injured when he fell while he and one of the teens were both pulling on the teen’s bicycle, police said.

The security guard was treated at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center.
Both teens were arrested soon after the incident, police said. One is charged with assault and third degree criminal trespass. The other is charged with third degree criminal trespass and petty larceny.
