Presidential Presentations Proceed At Bayview
Students used a combination of trade books and Internet resources to create technology-enhanced reports on U.S. presidents.
From West Islip School District: In preparation for President’s Week, third-graders in JoAnn Sheridan’s classroom at West Islip’s Bayview Elementary School used a combination of trade books and Internet resources to create technology-enhanced reports on U.S. presidents.
Utilizing the Google educational platform, the students created a series of Google slides and also created their own personal flare with an illustrated portrait of their respective president. After weeks of research and careful preparation, the children presented their Presidents on Parade reports on Feb. 13 to visiting guests.
