St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School Student-Athletes Sign Letters of Intent

Student-Athletes sign their college letters of intent at St. John the Baptist DHS

WEST ISLIP, NY – It is an exciting time at St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School as the top student-athletes are selecting their colleges. The SJB community is proud to celebrate the accomplishments of many of its student-athletes. The following athletes signed letters of intent:

  • Eliza Brant, Hauppauge resident - Swimming – Bryant University
  • Kevin Dolan, Oakdale resident – Baseball - LIU Post
  • Julianna DeSimone, Brightwaters resident - Lacrosse- Rollins College
  • Andrew Holdsworth, North Patchogue resident –Lacrosse – Molloy College
  • Jillian Hummel, East Patchogue resident - Lacrosse – LIU Post
  • Noah Lorenzo, Massapequa Park resident - Baseball LIU Post
  • Tyler White, Holtsville resident - Baseball - Hofstra University

The National Letter of Intent (NLI) is a document used by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to indicate a student- athlete’s commitment to participating in interscholastic athletics in the United States.
“We are very proud of all of athletes and their accomplishments. Watching these student-athletes grow and mature these past four years has been great. They exemplify all that is good about our athletic programs. We wish them all the best in their college endeavors and we are confident they will be an asset to their respective teams.”, said Ralph Dalton, Boys Athletic Director and Lorraine Bouklas, Girls Athletic Director.
