Suffolk County SPCA Seeking Info on Owner of Dog Found Abandoned in Front of West Islip Pet Shop

WEST ISLIP, NY - The Suffolk County SPCA is seeking information on the owner of a dog found abandoned at a West Islip pet shop on Sunday afternoon.

The SPCA received a call from police at about 3:40 p.m. regarding a long-haired chihuahua found dumped in a basket in front BTJ's Jungle pet shop located on 144 Sunrise Highway.

Officials say that while the dog was found in West Islip it might have come from anywhere.
