​Third Graders Explore Science With Bayview’s Butterflies

Third-grade scientists at West Islip’s Bayview Elementary School recently completed a butterfly unit, studying caterpillar anatomy, analyzing the relationship between structure and function, observing the process of metamorphosis, and learning how to care for and feed butterflies before setting them free.
