The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary invites you to join them at the 2014 Heckscher State Park Festival on Saturday, June 21st and Sunday, June 22nd at Heckscher State Park in East Islip.
Many exciting activities have been planned to make this a fulfilling and enjoyable weekend. Be sure to visit the Coast Guard display and have fun with “Coastie the Safety Boat” and “PDF Panda” as they promote water safety to kids of all ages. The festivities kick off at 11:00 AM and will continue through 4:00 PM on both days. The festival will be filled with children's events, environmental displays and presentations, animals, arts and crafts and more.
Heckscher State Park is located at the most eastern end of Southern State Parkway in East Islip.
