Music at St. Peter's will present a very special service of Vespers on Sunday, June 1 at 4:00 PM. This service, sung upon The Sunday after the Ascension, will feature the Magnificat in D Major by J. S. Bach. The parish choir and soloists will be joined with a Festival Orchestra to perform this major work from the catalogue of the great master. Come, join us, and hear one of Bach's greatest works, sung in the proper liturgical context for which it was written, by one of Long Island's outstanding choral ensembles. There will be a Free Will Offering, and a festive Wine and Cheese reception immediately follows the service. All are invited!
