Voter's Guide: West Islip 2018-19 School Budget, Board Election
What you need to know for election day.

Residents in the West Islip School District will vote on the district's $122,946,823 proposed budget for the 2018-19 school year on Tuesday, May 15.
The proposal calls for a 1.50 percent increase in spending over the current year and the tax levy increase is 3.13 percent, which is within the tax levy cap.
Residents will also have an opportunity to elect two members to the West Islip Board of Education for three-year terms starting on July 1. Those running for the open seats include:

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at West Islip High School.
