The West Islip School District's newest music educator, Avery Yurman, recently gave a presentation, 'Demystifying Double Reeds.'
From the West Islip School District: The West Islip School District’s newest music educator, Avery Yurman, recently gave a presentation, “Demystifying Double Reeds,” at a Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association symposium.
This conference took place at Commack Middle School with more than 300 music educators present. Yurman is currently serving as band director at Manetuck and Oquenock elementary schools.
