West Islip Fire Department To Host Supply Drive For Hurricane Harvey Victims
Donations will be collected until Sept. 8.

The West Islip Fire Department is hosting a supply collection starting on Wednesday for the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas.
"Sadly, the images from Texas look all too familiar," Commissioner Michael Mercurio wrote in a Facebook post. "Many were there to help our area in our time of need 5 years ago and I know many of us are looking for a way to help the people of Texas in theirs."
Items will be collected until Sept. 8 and can be dropped off at the fire department on 309 Union Boulevard.
