West Islip High School freshman Sophia Stehlik was recently named a winner in the 2020 New York State School Music Association Young Composers Honors Concert. Stehlik’s jazz septet “The Day After Yesterday” will be featured at the NYSSMA Cyber Summit taking place in early December.
