West Islip High School Hosts Candlelight Vigil for Slain NYPD Sergeant
The sergeant's wife works as an administrator at the local school.

WEST ISLIP, NY - West Islip High School recently hosted a candlelight vigil for slain NYPD Sgt. Paul Tuozzolo.
Tuozzolo, a Huntington resident and a NYPD officer for 19 years, was shot and killed in the Bronx Friday.
His wife, Lisa Martinolich, works as assistant principal at the local high school.

Many came out to the school's football field on Sunday night to honor Tuozzolo. In addition, the name 'Sgt. Tuozzolo' was sculpted using blue plastic cups on the fence in front of the school.
