West Islip voters approved the school district's $115.3 million proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 1,485-554, according to News 12.
The budget includes a 0.5 percent increase in spending over the current year and carries a 1.64 percent tax levy increase, which is within the state's tax cap.
Incumbent school board trustees Ronald Maginniss and Robert W. Ulrich were both re-elected.
