West Islip Schools Closed Thursday
The district announced the decision in light of an approaching snowstorm.
West Islip Public Schools will be closed Thursday due to inclement weather, district officials have announced.
According to the district website, all schools will be closed on Thursday, Feb. 9.
In addition, the Board of Education meeting scheduled for Thursday night will be rescheduled to Tuesday, February 28 and will immediately follow the Budget Session Meeting.
