West Islip Students Demonstrate They Care About Recycling
Bayview Elementary School second-graders participating in the Earth Day Poster Contest were congratulated by Principal John Mullins.
WEST ISLIP, NY - From West Islip School District: Students at West Islip’s Bayview Elementary School and Paul J. Bellew Elementary School showed they care about the earth by enthusiastically creating posters during art class with teacher Louise Stephenson as part of the New York State Senate’s Earth Day Poster Contest. The competition, which encourages awareness and participation in recycling, was organized by State Sen. Phil Boyle, who presented the proud students with certificates.
