Residents are urged to keep pets’ rabies vaccinations up to date and avoid approaching or attracting wildlife, as foxes are among the more common rabies carriers in the region.

The route is designed for a wide range of skill levels, with camping, small-town stops, and an optional harder section, plus free GPS tracks and a planning guide online.
