20 New Laptops Stolen from Digital Arts Experience

The theft occurred late Saturday night, Sept. 5.

Twenty new laptop computers were stolen from the Digital Arts Experience in White Plains late Saturday night, according to staff at the after-school technology learning center.

The theft occurred just after 11 p.m., and surveillance footage at the Hamilton Avenue facility shows a single male suspect, described as African-American, “of small stature weighing about 130 lbs. and dressed in black.”

“One can imagine how dismayed our staff and instructors are at this egregious violation of our facility and our mission,” said officials in a statement, adding that they “ refuse to be intimidated or disheartened by the actions of one thief.”
