Abinanti Applauds Court Decision on Westchester Medical Center Civil Service Commission

The Supreme Court’s recent ruling that the Westchester County Medical Center unlawfully established a civil service commission is good law and good policy. The civil service office is appropriately placed at the county so that decisions are made independently, uniformly and in one office, eliminating costly duplication.
