Acclaimed Stepinac Theatre Stages Disney's Smash Hit, "Newsies"
Recent Six Performances of Rousing Musical Enjoyed by Theatre Goers of All Ages from throughout New York Metro Area

WHITE PLAINS, NY (December 15, 2017) The acclaimed Stepinac Theatre recently staged six performances of Disney's smash-hit musical, Newsies, which attracted theatre lovers of all ages from throughout the New York metro area. The lead male and female roles were performed by Jeremy Fuentes of Mahopac, a Stepinac High School sophomore, who played Jack Kelly and Jazzy Cores of Mamaroneck, a junior at Rye Neck High School, who played the female lead character of Katharine Plumber. White Plains-based Stepinac, one of the nation's top 50 Catholic high schools, was among a select group of high schools in the U.S. that was chosen to mount a production of Newsies before it is released to general licensing.
