Ahmad Rashad Golf Classic Opening Reception

Dozens of golfers will tee off Monday afternoon at Quaker Ridge Golf Club in Scarsdale for the Ahmad Rashad Golf Classic to benefit White Plains Hospital.  But Sunday evening, a celebrity-packed gala reception was held at 42 the Restaurant atop the Ritz Carlton in White Plains.

Head Chef Anthony Goncalves moved from the kitchen to the various rooms of the restaurant mingling with celebrities, guests and hospital staff.

Television commentator Bob Costas chatted with Rashad over coacktails as five-time NBA champion Ron Harper spoke with PGA golfer Billy Andrade and Knicks assistant coach Darrell Walker.

Former professional atheletes David Justice, Otis Anderson were also in attendence.  Proceeds from the gala which included a silent auction will benefit the White Plains Hospital.
