Berkeley College Reopens All Campuses: UPDATE

The building was evacuated and streets were blocked off while while a search was undertaken.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — The White Plains campus of Berkeley College reopened Friday after being closed for a couple of hours because of a bomb threat. The college closed shortly around 9 a.m. and tweeted at 11:20 a.m. that all campuses in New Jersey and New York were back in business.

An unspecific threat was made against the college, White Plains Police Chief Anne FitzSimmons said. She would not elaborate further, the Journal News said.

The building that houses Berkeley College in White Plains has other tenants, and it was completely evacuated while police investigated.
