Bomb Threats Guilty Plea
Police said on four occasions the White Plains man wrote bomb threats for the building where his father had a business.
WHITE PLAINS, NY — A White Plains man admitted his guilt in connection with bomb threats to a Greenburgh building. Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino Jr. said David H. Prieto, 22, of White Plains, pleaded guilty to four counts of first-degree false reporting, felonies, for making written bomb threats against 660 White Plains Road in Greenburgh.
He is scheduled for sentencing July 29.
Prieto was employed by his father's construction contracting business at the time of the incidents.

The firm was on site at 660 White Plains Road, which is where Prieto, while employed, made threats suggesting there were bombs in the building on Sept. 13, 14, 17 and 19, police said.
In each incident, the threat was either written on a bathroom wall in marker or on paper found in a stairwell.

In one instance, police said, he wrote, "I have the bomb in the building BOOM."
The building at 660 White Plains Road is open to the public with about 30 businesses and 400 employees.
Each time, the building was evacuated and the Westchester County Department of Public Safety Bomb Squad was called in to determine if the building was safe.
Police said Prieto was recorded by security cameras in the building.
Greenburgh police handled the investigation and arrested him Sept. 25.
