BUILDING AND REALTY INSTITUTE KICKS OFF 70TH ANNIVERSARY YEAR WITH NOTED AUTHOR, SPEAKER DR. JERRY TEPLITZ
Author of nine books, including Brain Gym for Business, speaks on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, White Plains
In commemoration of its 70th anniversary, the Building and Realty Institute (BRI), a leading regional business group, will kick the year off with a presentation by Dr. Jerry V. Teplitz, author of nine books, including Brain Gym for Business, who helps others achieve their best in all areas of life. The meeting will be held at 6:30 PM on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in White Plains.
Dr. Teplitz, who has given over 1700 presentations to more than one million people since 1974, is known for his dynamic, educational and entertaining keynote speeches and seminars on how to optimize one’s brain performance for long-term impact and enhanced productivity.
At the BRI meeting, Dr. Teplitz will discuss how to be successful and effective in communication. He’ll challenge audience members to take a close look at their communication behavior style and enable them to better understand and relate to the people around them. Not only is this valuable for personal relationships, but it also will result in better interpersonal relationships on the job. According to Dr. Teplitz, participants will understand how others interpret their actions, increase awareness of their personal ability and responsibility to control and reduce stressors within the work environment and communicate more effectively with staff and clients.

Dr. Teplitz has earned the Certified Speaking Professional designation from the National Speakers Association. The Canadian Society of Association Executives has designated him an Association Excellence Speaker and the Professional Convention Management has designated him a “Best-in-Class” Speaker. He presents and consults on management and leadership training, sales development, brain integration and stress management. The BRI, also known as the Builders’ Institute, is a building, realty and construction industry membership organization. Based in Armonk, the association has 1,300 members in 14 counties of New York State. Members of the organization are involved in virtually every sector of the building, realty and construction industry.
