Angelica – A visit from this wonderful chamber choir, directed by Marie Caruso, has become a seasonal tradition for our Downtown Music audience. The concert brings together music from across seven centuries, exploring the wonder, mystery, and joy of the season. Medieval treasures include “Puer Natus in Bethlehem,” “What Tidings Bringest Thou,” and the 14th-century English carol “Als I Lay on Yoolis Night,” alongside Renaissance works by Monteverdi, Salamone Rossi, and Giovanni Croce.
