The vigil aims to show support for the ban and to remember those lost to gun violence in the county.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — A candlelight vigil will be held Monday in White Plains to mark gun violence deaths in Westchester County just before a vote to ban gun shows on county properties.
The candlelight vigil, which has a permit with the city, will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the front steps of the Michaelian Office Building, 148 Martine Ave. in White Plains.
Sponsored by the Interfaith Clergy for Social Action and WESPAC, the vigil will be a time of prayer, song and silence to show support for the ban and to member people killed because of gun violence, organizers said.
