BURKE REHABILITATION ANNOUNCES NEW VICE PRESIDENT, DEVELOPMENT

Non-Profit Veteran Ryan Joyce Joins Burke Rehabilitation as Vice President, Development

White Plains, NY (April 21, 2026) – Burke Rehabilitation®, a leading provider of advanced physical and medical rehabilitation and member of the Montefiore Health System, today announced the appointment of Ryan Joyce as Vice President, Development. In this role, Joyce will lead the development and philanthropic strategy at Burke in close partnership with hospital leadership and its Board of Trustees to strengthen fundraising performance, deepen donor engagement, and expand opportunities across individual giving, institutional philanthropy, and government grants.

His leadership will be instrumental as we expand our reach and invest in the future of rehabilitation excellence and high-quality patient care.”

Following a comprehensive and highly competitive national search, Joyce was selected for his extensive leadership experience, proven fundraising success, and strong alignment with the strategic priorities of Burke. A Rye native, he also brings deep ties to the broader Westchester/Hudson Valley/Fairfield County communities.

Joyce brings more than 15 years of senior advancement leadership experience across cultural institutions and independent schools in the in the United States and Europe, with a record of successful campaigns, team development, and donor engagement. Most recently, as Chief Development Officer at the Phoenix Art Museum, he led comprehensive fundraising initiatives and managed a team responsible for campaigns to support the museum's long-term growth.
