Curiosity Concerts Presents Sonic Escape

FREE FAMILY CLASSICAL MUSIC CONCERT

Curiosity Concerts is a series of free family concerts presented by professional musicians at different venues in the Greenwich, CT area. Concerts are 50 minutes long and are designed to inspire parents as well as their children of any age (but your child should be able to enjoy an hour of music).

Returning to Greenwich by overwhelming demand, Sonic Escape presents “Echoing Voices: A Musical History of America.” Travel through the homelands of immigrants to hear the “echoing voices” of our country’s heritage. These “daredevils with instruments” will tour nine regions – the Netherlands, England, Ireland, Germany, Russia, Italy, Puerto Rico, Egypt, and China. Sonic Escape is a flute-violin-cello trio of Juilliard graduates who use every part of the performer – fingers, mind, voice, and story – to reshape the live music experience. The virtuoso members have traveled the world to solo at Carnegie Hall, fiddle-dance in Riverdance, jam with Beale Street blues bands, and play NYC rock clubs.
