Downtown Music at Grace presents Highbridge Voices Chamber Choir

Downtown Music at Grace presents Highbridge Voices Chamber Choir in a concert to benefit the Highbridge Voices and Downtown Music on Sunday, November 22, 2015.

The Chamber Choir, made up of 60 students in grades 7-12, is the premiere touring ensemble of Highbridge Voices. Singing an average of ten performances a year, the Chamber Choir performs throughout New York City and Florida, Quebec and Washington, D.C. Highbridge Voices has had the honor of performing at several high profile events, including the U.S. Supreme Court Historical Society’s annual gala and at the Major League Baseball Division Championship at Yankee Stadium.

Founded in 1998, Highbridge Voices is considered one of New York’s finest children’s choir. It is an extended-day music and academic program for children in the under-served Highbridge community in the South Bronx. The mission of this program is to inspire excellence in the lives of these children through their active participation in music.

Downtown Music, founded in 1988 and based at historic Grace Episcopal Church in White Plains, has been offering Westchester residents a rich array of concerts performed by professional musicians for 28 years.
