Drs. Barnhard & Clunie Join White Plains Hospital

White Plains Hospital welcomes Dr. Yoni Barnhard and Dr. Garfield Clunie to the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the Maternal Fetal Medicine program. Dr. Barnhard is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and both physicians are board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Dr. Barnhard joined White Plains Hospital as the new Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology on October 16th. He comes to White Plains Hospital from Norwalk Hospital, where he was Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine for the Western Connecticut Health Network. Previously he was the Vice-Chairman of OBGYN, Director of Obstetrics and Residency Training at Lenox Hill Hospital. A graduate of the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Dr. Barnhard completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellowship in Maternal and Fetal Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Dr. Clunie will assume the role of Director of the Maternal Fetal Medicine program at White Plains Hospital on November 1st. Dr. Clunie received his medical degree from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University Downtown Hospital and his fellowship in Maternal and Fetal Medicine at the Tufts New England Medical Center. He was previously on staff at White Plains Hospital as a perinatologist from 2006 to 2012, and has since been with Mount Sinai as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science. We welcome him back to White Plains Hospital in this new leadership role.
