Author to speak at Ethical Culture Society

“America’s racial divide: Is reparations the answer?” will be the topic of a presentation by author Ronald Peden, starting at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13, at the Ethical Culture Society of Westchester, 7 Saxon Wood Road (off Mamaroneck Avenue), in White Plains.

Mr. Peden, author of the book “Notes on the State of America,”  is a graduate of Temple University and New England Law/Boston. He has been active in neighborhood development and community organizing with Americorps, various Community Development Corporations (CDCs) and nonprofits in Philadelphia and greater Boston. He is currently organizing the  Organization for American Unity (OAU) as an advocacy initiative. A native of Philadelphia, Mr. Peden is married and resides in Cambridge, Mass. “Notes on the State of America” is his first book.
