Heart Health: How to Keep Your Ticker Tip-Top

In celebration of Heart Health Month, The Kensington, a new enhanced assisted living residence, and Scarsdale Medical Group are presenting a light-hearted but candid program on how to improve your cardiac health.

Titled “Heart Health: How to Keep Your Ticker Tip-Top,” the event, which is open to the public, is being held Wednesday, February 22 from 6 pm to 7 pm at The Kensington, 100 Maple Avenue, White Plains.

The featured speaker is Cardiologist Roger V. Cappucci, MD, FACP, FACC of Scarsdale Medical Group, who will explain which behaviors promote a healthy heart and those you should avoid. Among the topics to be discussed are physical exertion, sexual activity, diet, nutrition and the benefits of everything from dark chocolate to exercise.
