Learn about heroes of our time -- men and women who stood up for what they believed in. Guess who they are and what they did, as we celebrate their achievements along this story walk in the library. The Story Walk is based on the book "Giant Steps to Change the World" written by Spike Lee and Tonya Lewis Lee and illustrated by Sean Qualls. The Story Walk is open to families with children in grades 1 - 6 beginning Sunday, February 19 and continuing through Sunday, March 25, 2012. Additional Information: Story Walk instructions are available at the Children's Information Desk (The Compass) in The Trove. Participants must sign in there before proceeding on the walk. An adult must accompany children in grades 1 - 3 on the walk. Children in grades 4 - 6 may follow the walk without an adult.
