Judi Markowitz, Ph. D., licensed psychologist, will bring a pet therapy dog to the event and discuss how pets can bring joy to those with dementia.

Carrie Markowitz, Ph.D., licensed psychologist with Memory Helpers Psychological Services, will discuss how memory enhancement computer programs can assist with communication.
Eleanor Dennis, LCAT, MT-BC, will discuss music therapy and how it relates to hospice and palliative care. A licensed board certified creative arts therapist, Ms. Dennis works as a consultant for Hospice & Palliative Care of Westchester and has her own business called Dennis Music Works.
Marlon Sobol, MT-BC, LCAT, will show how the power of a group of diverse people with differences in cognition, generation and culture come together using music. Mr. Sobol is Manager of the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function at Schnurmacher Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.
