Post Road PTA Fundraiser, Plus Free Performance by Peter of Peter, Paul and Mary

Post Road School’s PTA Will Host A Performance, Storytime & Bookfair  At The City Center Barnes & Noble Store

Special Guest: Peter Yarrow, of the trio Peter, Paul, and Mary.

When: Fundraiser is all day, Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, from 10 a.m to 10 p.m.

Where: , City Center, 230 Main St., White Plains.

Time: Peter Yarrow will perform at 7 p.m.

will be hosting a storytime and bookfair at the  on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011.

If you mention Post Road Elementary School at the checkout, you will be supporting our children.

The fundraiser will help the Post Road School PTA fund fifth grade graduation activities: yearbook, field day, graduation t-shirts, and more.

By mentioning Post Road School PTA at checkout, Barnes & Noble will donate a  percentage of the day’s proceeds directly to the PTA.

In addition to the bookfair, the day will include a special performance by Peter Yarrow, an American singer who found fame with the trio Peter, Paul and Mary.

Yarrow co-wrote one of the group's most famous songs, "Puff, the Magic Dragon.”

Peter Yarrow will perform and read the Christmas Classic, “The Night Before Christmas” starting at 7 p.m.

What a great way to spend the evening promoting reading and enjoying time with your children. Afterwards, Peter will sign both copies of The Night Before Christmas and his other work. ALL ARE WELCOME.
