Irish signing, dancing and a festive meal will be feature at this year's The Friendly Gathering.
This year's honoree is PEACE OUTside CAMPUS, the Lindsey M. Bonistall Foundation, honoring their work to promote peaceful and safe living environmnets in off-campus college communities nationwide.
Lindsey Marie Bonistall, a graduate of Our Lady of Good Counsel Academy High School, was a victim of a violent crime in her off-campus apartment that took her life while a 20-year-old sophomore at the University of Delaware on May 1, 2005.

The goal of PEACE OUTside CAMPUS, The Lindsey M. Bonistall Foundation is to empower students and their families to be more proactive in safeguarding themselves against those who perpetuate crime and violence.
Rather than creating a culture of fear, they strive to reinforce a sense of empowerment, strength, and security.

The Friendly Gathering features a corned beef and cabbage dinner; Irish songs by premier Sligo-style fiddler Brian Conway and his group with Liz Mc Nicholls; and a performance by The O’Rourke Academy of Irish Dance.
This evening will also feature a Live Auction for a foursome at Westchester Club, including caddy and lunch, a foursome at St. Andrews Golf Club and tickets to professional sporting events.
The Friendly Gathering, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 PM, takes place at the Leo Kearney Sports Center at Good Counsel Campus, 52 North Broadway in White Plains, NY 10603.
