Which are the Best Food Places in the Area? – You Decide       

Come taste delicious dishes from local Greenburgh restaurants and then vote for the best in competitive categories during the first Greenburgh Taste Off benefit, Saturday May 14, noon to 3 p.m. Woodlands High School, 475 West Hartsdale Avenue, Hartsdale, NY.

The event is sponsored by the Woodlands Falcons Nest Booster Club and the Middle and High School PTSAs. All proceeds benefit Woodlands Middle and High School students.

The event will include a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction for Yankees and Mets tickets, restaurant gift certificates and more. Visitors will also have a chance to vote for their favorite chicken wings, chili, ribs and other categories. There will also be a celebration honoring three veteran Greenburgh Central 7 members for their years of services to the children of our community. The honorees are Maria Vannucci, Foreign Language teacher (29 years); Francine Shorts, School Psychologist (27 years) and Ruth Lichter, ESL teacher (20 years).

Tickets are: $15 in advance, $20 at the door and $10 for K-12 students.

Establishments scheduled to participate in the taste off include: Antun’s of Westchester, Bennie Boy's Catering Service, California Pizza Kitchen, Candlelight Inn, Frank’s Food Court, Golden Krust, Hurricane Wings, Malabar Hill, Tuscany Red Barn Pizza, Sun Splash Bakery & Restaurant, and Vega Mexican Cuisine.
