The WIHD 40th Anniversary Free Lecture Series is open to the public and features nationally renowned speakers, who will be addressing the future opportunities and challenges in the areas of Child Welfare, Early Education, Autism and Transition, Disabilities and Healthcare.
The first in the series will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at WIHD, Cedarwood Hall Auditorium, Valhalla, NY 10595 (on the campus of the Westchester Medical Center).

WIHD addresses the needs of people with disabilities, at any age, from birth through school years, supporting transitions into the adult world, including higher education and employment. On-site services include: a primary healthcare and specialty care clinic, a dental clinic, a behavior psychology practice, speech and hearing, an Assistive Technology Center, a Family Resource Center and other therapeutic and support services.
