White Plains High School PTA 19th Annual Crafts Fair

Do your holiday shopping and help a White Plains High School senior pay for college.

On Saturday, Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., the White Plains High School PTA will hold its 19th Annual Holiday Craft Fair. More than 70 vendors will display unique items including children’s books and toys, handmade jewelry, jewelry boxes, crocheted items, scarves, leather handbags, wooden Christmas ornaments, African art, organic coffee and tea, signed sports memorabilia and much, much more.

Refreshments will be on sale at the snack bar run by the PTA throughout the day.

All proceeds from the event will go to the White Plains HS PTA Senior Recognition Fund, which goes to support college scholarships for White Plains High School seniors. Students who apply must perform community service to qualify.

Donna Louis, Co-president of the White Plains High School PTA, said although the PTA grants were modest, even small amounts could help students with the cost of books and other college expenses.

“This is much more than an opportunity to get some unique holiday gifts,’’ said Louis. “It’s an opportunity to support our young people and show them that their community is behind them.’’

The Crafts Fair will be held in H Cafeteria at White Plains High School, 550 North Street, White Plains, NY.
