The White Plains Foundation for the Advancement of International Studies (FAIS) will hold a Zumbathon fundraiser on Thursday, Dec. 8, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the White Plains High School South gymnasium.
The Zumbathon will be led by certified Zumba instructors who will inspire participants to learn Zumba, the Latin dance-inspired fitness phenomenon in which participants dance choreographed routines to popular music.

If you're planning to attend, gym clothes and sneakers are recommended.Cost is $20 for adults, $15 for college students, and $10 for high school and middle school students.
All proceeds will go toward helping to support White Plains students who travel internationally as part of the Foundation for the Advancement of International Studies program, and to international students who visit White Plains schools.
