Faust Harrison Pianos of White Plains Opens New Showroom and Performance Center to Serve Southern Connecticut
Iconic White Plains Piano Retailer Expands Into Southern Ct

With its spacious recital area, a unique “Circle of Love” display of pianos and a special listening room equipped with a groundbreaking Yamaha Disklavier reproducing piano and related technology, the recently opened Faust Harrison Pianos showroom and performance center in southwestern Connecticut is clearly not your father’s piano store.
The freshly renovated, 6,000 square foot piano center in Fairfield, the company’s fourth location, and its first in Connecticut, is much more than just a retail showroom for pianos, says its manager, Erica vanderLinde Feidner, a former concert pianist who has more than two decades of expertise and experience in piano sales and customer service.
“Our goal is to be an arts and cultural center in southern Connecticut, offering people the opportunity to experience and purchase great pianos, and also to be part of a music community based in the Fairfield area,” Feidner explained. “As people walk in and look around our modern, open space with white oak floors, pianos set up in an inviting way along with a relaxed and comfortable listening room, they quickly realize that this is a place to get to know pianos.”
Faust Harrison Pianos, established in 1983 by Sara Faust, is already New York’s largest piano retailer, with centers in Manhattan, Westchester County and Long Island. In addition to being America’s most esteemed piano restoration company, Faust Harrison continues to be ahead of the curve with technological advances in piano instrumentation and music education.
Faust Harrison’s balanced focus on offering the finest in both traditional instruments from the world’s most sought-after piano manufacturers as well as cutting-edge piano technology is evident in the new two-floor Fairfield center.
Customers can experience the thrill of playing world-class, classic concert grands such as a new Yamaha CFX or a fully and impeccably restored vintage Steinway, and they can also check out the revolutionary capabilities of a Yamaha Disklavier reproducing piano. Disklaviers can faithfully record and then play back performances with each note and the smallest pedal movement delivered precisely as the pianist originally recorded it, offering myriad opportunities in performance and remote music education. The center is also equipped with Disklavier TV, which provides access to a variety of streaming performances captured live at top venues and events from around the country, including the Newport Music Festival and the Monterey Jazz Festival.
“This new showroom reflects our company’s continuing mission to put the customer first, whether by offering the best pianos available, providing the finest piano expertise and service, or being a center for music education and music appreciation for a community,” said Sara Faust, president of Faust Harrison Pianos.
Located at 322 Blackrock Turnpike, just off I-95 at Exit 24, the newest Faust Harrison Piano Center features an ample performance space that will be used for performances and other artistic events. Art installations and cultural events are also planned for the new center.
“This incredible new facility highlights Faust Harrison’s commitment not only to the music marketplace, but also to education and music in general for people of all ages,” said Bob Heller, national sales director, Keyboard Division, Yamaha Corporation of America. “We’re eager to see all this center brings to Connecticut, given the positive impact Faust Harrison’s three other locations have had on communities in New York.”
